Climate Change

We explore telling the story of climate change through a composition of loops.

Loops are composed of variables connected by causal relationships, positive or negative. Loops are either balancing or reinforcing.

Start browsing from a variable. Try Fires. A variable depends on variables above it and influences variables below. We show a list of loops that include each variable.

Start browsing from a loop. Try Plants Loop. A loop contains two or more variables connected by causal relationships in a closed loop.

Switch freely from variables to loops. Both diagrams show variables but differ in how they are connected.

Try Lineup Viewer once you have viewed some variables. The diagrams it draws allow you to click to continue exploring.

We welcome help explaining loops and variables where explanations have been requested. Fork this page to a site you own and browse and edit from there.

Authors can edit here by clicking the 'wiki' in the tab footer. Edited pages show a yellow halo. See Local Changes to download your changes and share them in our chat room. element
